THIS PARCEL SURPRISED ME...

I got this from an online friend who owns an online shop. I was so surprised with these stuffs not expecting to receive this as birthday presents. She gave me 3 Cuttlebug embossing folders (Divine Swirl, Snowflakes, Christmas Ornaments) and these beautiful stamped images ! Oh wow! Now I don't know which ones of the stamped images to colour first. LOL! I received heaps from different wonderful people. Thank you guys, you know who you are. AND thanks for the birthday gift Bec. It means a lot. :)

SARAH KAY SC197

Here's my take at SC197 sketch challenge over SCS. This is the first time I used two different patterned papers on a card. I coloured the image (which is computer-generated) with my Copics and Bic Mark-It. I will post more later as I have to cook dinner and bring it over to my BIL's house (sort of family dinner bonding).

Ciao!

Birthday Cards I Received

Hello everyone! Hope all is well with you. I just want to share here the cards that I received on my birthday.

This one si from Joanne Kitchener. I met her barely 2wks ago from Scrapbook.com and she always leave lovely comments on my gallery there. She sent me this card upon knowing that my birthday is on Oct 13 (she knew it I think 2 or 3 days before my birthday). This came all the way from England. Thanks Jo!

And this one is of course, from Janette Olsen. I so, so like her cards and the way she creates them and so I requested her to make a birthday card for me. lol! She's so accomodating and she even sent me some stuffs. Thanks so much, Janette. The sentiment is really inspirational. :)

Will post more later once I finished my pending projects. Have a blessed day!

Thanks Everyone!

Just want to say THANK YOU to those who greeted me on my birthday yesterday and my wedding anniversary which is today. :) Thanks also to those who sent me their greetings through cards (both through snail mail and e-card). I appreciate it a lot. Thanks for remembering, guys! I thank God for another year in my life and praying for more birthdays and anniversaries to come. I just cooked some native foods and had cake and ice cream yesterday. My BIL and his family went over and also a Filipino family who's close to us. AND my loving husband loves the anniversary card that I made for him :) Btw, here is what hubby gave me on my birthday:

Yay! A Xyron 5" Creative Station sticker maker! Woohoo!! Can't wait to use it and make projects out of it. I'm now currently searching through the net for some ideas and projects. Any suggestion?

And oh!! I won on Peggy's blog candy --- now I can have her Peggy's Pretties!!! I just can't believe that I'm already winning blog candies lol! I won a stamp over Camilla's blog a few days ago and now Peggy's! Seems winning streak is taking side on me nowadays heheh! Thank God for blog candies.

CUPCAKES!!

I hope you're not getting tired seeing cupcakes cards from me. Who doesn't like cupcakes anyway? ;)

This gorgeous cupcakes on a tier image was a RAK from my SBS 22 sister Sarah. I think she gave this to me almost a month ago. I actually coloured them since I got hold of them but it's only now that I was able to put them onto a card. I made two cards using the same image only that I coloured them differently.

You can tell that this one was coloured with Copic Markers. I also used my Cuttlebug Argyle embossing folder for the first time. This folder was a just-because gift from an online friend. I used a Bazzill cardstock (for the embossed card) and DCWV matchmaker for the mat.

And this one was coloured with watercolour pencils using my blender pen. Cardstocks used were Bazzill & SU! Whisper White. I also embellished it with rhinestones and sentiment was computer-generated.
Thanks for looking and there will be more cupcakes to come. LOL!
Have a blessed day!

I'M BACK!!

Hello everyone! Me and my family just got back from our Church Family Camp and we feel so refreshed and rejuvenated! It was full of fun and at the same time full of God's words and the main theme for the camp is about "Prayer". One Pastor taught about the "formula" to have the anointing to flow through you and it is - Faith + (Prayer and Fasting) = Annointing! The message was very powerful and and I also learned that we must pray without ceasing (meaning everyday, 24/7) and we must not be shy or timid before God when we pray. Instead we must be loud and bold to tell Him our prayer requests. Anyway, even if we keep silent, God knows what's in our heart and mind -- so better yet, speak it up. Amen?! It was a very nice experience for me especially that my birthday will be tomorrow (and the day after will be my wedding anniversary), it's a very, very nice preparation for the added year in my life and I really thank God for it.

So..I'm back to our regular program. Actually, 2 days before we left for the family camp, I whipped up an anniversary card for my husband. I made it ahead of time knowing that I will not have the slightest chance to make him a card once we're back from the camp. And besides, he will have his off on my birthday and the day after so, yeah, the chance is too slim for me. LOL!

I don't have a stamped image of a couple and so I searched for some images on the internet and ended up with this:

I patterned the sketch with SC193 over at SCS. I coloured the image basically with my Copic markers. The sentiment was also computer-generated. Now, the only thing I have to do is to write the message inside without him seeing me. ;)

Oh, btw, I won a stamp over Camilla's blog. Yipee!!! What a nice surprise after the camp!!

Thanks for always visiting my blog and for the lovely comments you leave.
