Lovely LILLY {Bizzy Becs}

Howdy? I can't believe I'm posting at 10pm, lol! I normally post very late at night, when every member of my family is asleep but this time, it's a different thing. :)

Anyways, I finally was able to play with the stuffs sent to us DTs by Bizzy Becs Stamps owner, Bec. Thanks Bec, the papers are all yummy and the flowers and other embellies as well. They're all lovely! Lilly is one of those gorgeous stamps available at Bizzy Becs only. You can visit the shop here.

I coloured Lilly with Prismacolor pencils (my fav colouring medium) with odourless solvent. I took all the colours from the gorgeous dp that I used as background. I embossed the 2 horizontal teal-coloured cs with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder to complement the dots on Lilly's dress. I also did some sponging as you can see using Choc Chip ink and Soft Sky. I think it turned out well somehow. I finished it off by putting two flowers on the left side of the horizontal panel and with dew drops at the center. I also went over the dots on Lilly's dress and her hair bow with Copic Spica glitter pen but I don't think the camera was able to catch the sparkle.

This is it for now and don't forget to visit my post regarding my blogoversary suprise candy which can be found HERE.

Take care everyone and God bless us all!

Wedding Card

Hi all! Let me share with you a Wedding Card that I made yesterday afternoon. I had a play with my Pearlescent cs and I really like how it turned out. I've seen lots of cards made of Pearlescent cs embossed in Cuttlebug folders and they really are elegant looking that's why I gave it a try myself.

This is my finished product:

The wedding doves is a stamp I bought from ebay that I received yesterday. It's actually second-hand but I opted to buy it as I don't have any wedding themed stamps on hand. I stamped the image onto my Pearlescent cs with Versamark, heat-embossed with Hologram Gold embossing powder then cut with Oval Nestabilities. I Cuttlebug-embossed the panel with Swiss Dots and finished off the card with a golden grosgrain ribbon from Jenni Bowlin.

Thanks so much for the visit and have a blessed day!

CAS08 {Thank You}

This is for the CAS08 challenge over SCS. Clean and simple as it is, I just put a ribbon around the SU! Whisper White cs, embellish it with a big Prima flower and a big brad at the center and stamped the sentiment (by Studio G) just below the flower.
Short and sweet....that's it!
Thanks for the visit! God bless!

MOJO79 {Hello}

Happy Tuesday! I'm not feeling that well atm but I'm glad I was able to finish a card using the Mojo79 challenge. I also know that I'm a week behind with the Mojo Monday challenge but it's better late than never.

This gorgeous girl who's talking on the phone is no other than Steph from InStyle Stamps. She's one of the new releases of ISS for the month of March. Whenever I see her, she very much reminds me of me (I talk long hours over the phone, lol!)

I really like the colour combo that I used with this card. The dp is from Basic Grey Bittersweet collection. So yummy looking, ey? I used a Tablex pink cs for the base and then an SU! Rose Red. I used my Martha Stewart Doily Lace punch under the Basic Grey dp. I haven't been using this punch for quite awhile and found it so fitting with this one.

I coloured Steph with Prismacolor pencils with odourless solvent and the sentiment I used is from Studio G. I finished off the card with a chocolate satin ribbon which I think complemented the the dp.

Thanks for visiting and for your lovely comments in advance. =)

Cheers!

Easter Card

Whew! I can't believe it's already 1am here in Australia! I was caught up with my cardmaking that I didn't notice it's already late.

I was able to finish one card today featuring "Window" from InStyle Stamps digital downloads. Our printer has been having problems for more than a week now that's why I didn't have so much chance to make cards using the digi images. I had one of this Window printed once but I was planning to do some dimensions so I had to print another one. I asked my friend to print one out for me this afternoon and when I got home, the printed images were already here.

Here is my very first Easter Card made for this month:

My Spellbinders Tag Trio arrived the other day from Bizzy Becs and I was so excited to use it on this card. I coloured the image using my Copic Ciaos and as you can see (as I have mentioned earlier), I cut out some eggs and used pop dots to give it dimension.

I finished off the card by adhering dew drops at the bottom right. Easter is just around the corner so I really have to rush and finish off some Easter cards to be sent to friends and relatives. How about you? Have you done yours already?

Thanks for looking and have a great day! ;)

God bless.

LSC213 Black and White Happy Birthday

Hello fellow bloggers and readers! Howdy?? Been off from the blogland as my DS2 got sick and my migraine has been visiting me once again.

Anywho, I've made a card based on LSC213 challenge and that is a black and white theme. I made this card plain and simple. This is for the mother of my churchmate who is celebrating her birthday today. Here's the card:

I used a white cs for my base then put an SU! Basic Black on top of it and then another Whisper White which was Cuttlebug embossed (using Divine Swirl) on each end, leaving the middle unembossed. I then used black grosgrain ribbon and gray organdy ribbon to hide the ends of the embossed area.

I stamped my image twice (from Autumn Leaves) on Whisper White then cut the wings part of the second one and pop-dotted it to give dimension. I went over to the outline of the image using my Copic Spica Glitter pen (clear), stamped the sentiment (from Hero Arts) and finished it off by putting Kaiser pearls (black) on the right side, on top of the sentiment. Oh, I also used my corner rounder on the four corners of the card and each cs to give it a non-traditional look.

This is all for now as we have to prepare early for our Sunday Church Service. Thank you so much for visiting and I just couldn't believe that I'll be having my blogoversary in 3days!!! Wohooo!!! I was caught up with other things that I haven't noticed this one. Gosh! Well, I will be preparing some candy and if ever I will not be able to have it on the day of my blogoversary, I'll be giving it a week after. But for sure, I'm gonna have it so check back more often!!

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!!!
