{WT213} Upsy Daisy in Pomegranate

Hi everyone! I've been having migraine since last night making me so unproductive around the house. :( Good thing it's hubby's off from work today so he did most of the chores for me. (how sweet!) We weren't also able to join our fellow churchmate for the water baptism of our two members because I wasn't really feeling well.

Anyways, I tried my best to sleep (and I was able to) that's why when I woke up, I felt a little better (thank GOD!). I did some bed cover changing before I stamp and make a card for the WT213 challenge over SCS. The challenge is to use a label on the card. These labels are the labels such as address labels, file labels and these are the ones with adhesive on the back side. I used labels which I bought from $2 shop a couple of months ago. What I did was, I sponged the labels with SU! Old Olive and Summer Sun then stamped my image using Purely Pomegranate ink. YES! I'm using UPSY DAISY from SU! My very first SU! stamps! lol! This set was just released last 1 April.

Here's my card:

I didn't put any embellishments at all as I really want the main image to stand out. The sentiment was also from the Upsy Daisy set.
Thanks for looking. I'm off to do the Limited Supply Challenge next (well, hopefully!).
God bless us all.

CHRISTMAS IN BLACK, WHITE & GOLD {SC223}

Happy Thursday! I'm sharing with you my card for SC223 over SCS. For the first time I was able to ink up one of Kaisercrafts NEW released stamp sets, it's the Merry Christmas set. Upon seeing the sketch, I already knew what stamps to use. :)

Here you can see that I stamped my images on SU! Whisper White using Versamark and heat-embossed them using my Hologram Gold embossing powder. I then Cuttlebug-embossed the vertical panel with my Snowflakes embossing folder and matted it with Basic Black. I cut my images using my Square nestabilities and matted them onto Basic Black cs as well.

I finished the card off by sponging a goldish ink (by Kaisercraft as well, as far as I can remember) on the edges of the images and the entire card.

Hope you'll like it and don't forget to visit my blogoversary post for a chance to win a "surprise" candy from me. :)

God bless!

WOLF SILHOUETTE

Hello once again! This card was inspired by Michelle Zindorf's Lone Wolf. I was longing to have a brayer and some silhouette stamps and now I got them, I decided to give it a go.

I know this card didn't get so close to Michelle's but this is my FIRST time so I hope you understand if this is a bit of a mess. hahaha!

I read Michelle's tutorial while I was doing this but I just don't know what happened to my mountains. LOL! And the hill didn't end up to be a hill as well....more of a cliff (another LOL!). But I liked the outcome of that cliff (?) anyway. Honestly, I really enjoyed the whole process and I'm learning a lot. :) Here's my finished card (and don't laugh, pls? hahaha)

The camera didn't catch the blackness of the cliff here. IRL it's really black!! Anyways, I hope you somehow liked this card because I like it! (I better should, it's mine! LOL!)
Thanks for looking...more posts later!

A Simple Anniversary Card

Hello everyone! It's Holy Wednesday today. A calm and quiet day in my place atm. :) Hope everything's doing well with you. I just want to share with you a card that I made last Sunday. I didn't get much time to create cards, let alone upload them on my blog. :( Well, just a couple more days to go and it's school holidays so I will have more time to create by then.

This card is an anniversary card which I made for a couple from our church. The guy happens to be my DS1's godfather. I just made this one quick and simple as you can see. I started with Groovy Guava base, then put a Wild Wasabi cs over it. I stamped my Cupid's Arrows (by Kaiserstamp) onto Whisper White cs (using Groovy Guava ink) and heat-embossed it using clear embossing powder. I then cut it out using Spellbinders Labels 1 and matted it onto another Labels 1 die cut of Groovy Guava. I finished it off by stamping the sentiment onto the bottom right of the card and put a ribbon around the Wild Wasabi panel.

A very quick way to whip a card. ;) Well, it seems Wild Wasabi and Groovy Guava go well together, don't you think so?
I'll see you on my next post. Don't forget to visit my blogoversary candy and join!
Have a blessed day everyone!
