Inspired by Mini Tiffany Cakes

Hello blogland!  Hope you're all doing very well at your side of the world.  It's very cold here atm while I'm writing this post so I'll just make this one short and sweet. ;-)

This card is for the ff challenges:

CAS74 (over SCS) - Celebrations!  Denise gave us this SITE to get our inspiration with
COLOR THROWDOWN#99 - my first participation with them and their challenge is to use colours cream, chocolate and turqouise

So, here's my card:

I just made it very simple as it's for a Clean and Simple challenge. The cream panel was embossed with Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder and matted onto brown Bazzill.  I used my All A-fleur embunched punch (by Fiskars) for the border.  The sentiment was from AmyR stamps (by CC Designs) and was stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa then cut with my die leaf from Spellbinders Daisy Heads set and was sponged lightly with Versacolor Lagoon Blue while still inside the die.  The two upper corners of the cream panel was punched with EK Success corner punch and was lined with a cs from DCWV Garden Party stack.  I finished off the card with an Aqua ribbon with a bow made using Bow Easy.

That's all for tonight and I'd like to sleep early tonight because I can feel my migraine's coming. :(

Thanks for visiting and may our good and loving God bless us all for always!

SSIC#45 He Has Made Everything Beautiful

Hi everyone!  I'm so excited to share with you this card that I've managed to finish few minutes ago.  I was excited because there are only few hours left before the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge#45 closes. :)  The challenge was based on
Isaiah 53:5: "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed."
And I say a big AMEN and THANK YOU LORD for that!

So, the challenge now is to use stripes in some manner in our card or project.  And since a friend from the church asked me to make her an engagement card for a friend using the verse from Ecclesiastes, I thought I'd use stripes to qualify for the challenge. She wanted the colours to be taken from the engagement invitation which happened to be autumn colours with a touch of gray.

My Bible verse is from ODBD Scripture Collection 1 and was stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I cut it with my Long Rectangle Nestabilities and sponged around it using Versacolor Laurel Leaf while still inside the die.  I also did the same thing with the circle panel but embossed it afterwards with Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder.  Both panels were sprayed with Glimmer Mist pearl for some sparkle.

The dp is from Basic Grey Mellow pad. It's very timing because all the papers on that pad are autumn in colours.  My base is a white cs, then I added an SU! Basic Gray, then an orange cs and then the Basic Grey dp.
I then use again my Bow Easy to create this brown satin bow and finished off the card with some Kaiserpearl pearls. The ribbon tails were adorned with my Stickles Star Dust.

Thanks for looking and I'll see you on my next post! Thank God for Sundays for this is the time where we can celebrate His goodness with our fellow believers!

Have a blessed day!
