ODBDSLC34 {Romans 8:28}

Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your day wherever you are. :)  Just want to present with you a card I made for ODBDSLC34 wherein the challenge is to use the colours Black, Kraft and one other colour.  This is also my 2nd entry for Joan's 4th and final week month-long blog candy in celebration of World Cardmaking Day! I haven't been playing with the ODBD challenges for months now but I just couldn't resist the colour combo this time. :)

I just want to make it simple as I'm aiming to focus on the Bible verse, which is from ODBD Scripture Collection 1, rather than the embellishments.  The Kraft is from my stash, where an oval was cut out for a previous project.  I was thinking of using it as a whole rather than cut a part of it and I liked how it turned out.  I chose the mustard-coloured cs to stamp my leaves on (from SU! Lovely As A Tree set) to make the image pop up.  Finished it off with black pearls at the bottom of the bible verse --- which is one of my favourite verses. :)

This is all for now and I'll see you on my next post.

God bless everyone!

Ginghams and Checks

Happy Monday! Hope everything's well with you and that you had a lovely weekend. This card that I'm about to share with you is my challenge card for CAS90 challenge over SCS: Ginghams and Checks. This is also my entry for Joan's month-long blog candy in celebration of World Cardmaking Day! This is the fourth and final week and I do hope I'll win again. =)

I was trying to make this one a Christmas card while using stuffs that aren't traditionally "christmassy" but I think the gingham and the flower gave the card a Christmas feel. :) The image is from Stampendous stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and I just lightly coloured the outside part with a Copic marker. The sentiment is from Sweet and Sassy (part of a Christmas stamp set) and the rest is self-explanatory. :)

Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
