Engagement Cards

Happy December everyone!!! I can't believe we're just few weeks away from Christmas! Time really flies so, so fast these days!  I've been very busy making cards for different occasions but mostly Christmas and that's what's keeping me from updating my blog.  Thank you for visiting and staying as my followers eventhough I haven't been posting lately.  I'll try to keep you posted at least when all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas cardmaking ceases. As to when? LOL!! I totally don't know.  Hahaha! Hey, I'm always here and will do my best to post my created cards for you to see.

The following cards were made for a friend who attended 2 engagement parties these past weeks. She didn't give me any colour theme so I just chose the colours myself. The first one is a combination of black, gray, white and red. I used a red satin ribbon to make the whole card pop. And I think it went well with the other colours. :) My friend liked it and the recipient as well. :) Dp is from Kaisercraft and the cardstocks are from SU!  The name was done using Justrite Stampers. So versatile, you can almost always personalised cards with those stamps! I also used my newly-purchased MS Botanical Scallop punch. Btw, my MS Doily Lace punch already lost its ability to punch months ago and I'm kinda sad because I really like its style. :( Anyway, this is the replacement and I'm also happy because it can be used on any occasions as well.

The second one is a combination of brown (my favourite) and a bluish/kind of turqoise specialty paper from DCWV Garden Stack. It's so lovely IRL as it really sparkles! Sentiments and name were also made using the same set of Justrite Stampers that I used on the first card. Both cards were finished off with Kaiser pearls for added accent.

Thanks for spending your time reading my blog posts and for following. Until next post -- more Christmas cards!

Have a blessed day!
